Terms of sale

By placing an order with StarTide you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.

1. Research use only

All products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory and research use. They are not medicines, supplements, cosmetics or foods, and are not sold or supplied for human or veterinary consumption, administration, or any diagnostic or therapeutic use. Nothing on this site is a representation that any product is safe or effective for any such use.

2. Eligibility

You confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you are a qualified researcher or purchasing on behalf of a research organisation, and that you will use the products only for lawful scientific research.

3. Products & information

Identity, purity and lot data are confirmed by third-party HPLC testing. We take care to describe products accurately, but specifications may vary within stated tolerances. Images are representative.

4. Orders, pricing & payment

Prices are in Australian dollars and may change without notice. An order is accepted when we confirm dispatch. We may decline or cancel any order. Payment is taken at checkout by the methods shown.

5. Shipping & risk

Dispatch and delivery estimates are indicative. Risk passes to you on delivery. See our shipping page for current times and rates.

6. Returns

Because these are research materials, orders cannot be returned once dispatched except where a product arrives damaged or is not as described. Contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right.

7. Compliance

You are responsible for complying with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including any that govern the purchase, possession, handling or import of research materials in your jurisdiction.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, StarTide is not liable for any loss arising from misuse of a product or from any use other than lawful in-vitro research. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
