Peptide reconstitution calculator

Work out exactly how much bacteriostatic water to draw for a target dose. Enter the vial, the water you're adding and the dose you want — the draw is shown in syringe units and millilitres.

On a U-100 syringe the barrel is marked 0–100 units for 1 mL, so each unit is 0.01 mL.

01

Add the water slowly

Run bacteriostatic water down the inside of the vial against the glass, not straight onto the powder.

02

Let it dissolve

Swirl gently until clear. Don't shake. Store the reconstituted vial refrigerated and protected from light.

03

Draw your dose

Draw to the unit mark shown above on an insulin syringe. Re-check the figure whenever you change the water volume.
